After the holidays
Just a reminder, if there are any contributions to our builders yard such as bricks, we would really appreciate them. Thank you
Happy Holidays to everyone
There are so many photos to share this week including the delightful ones from our Easter parade.
The commendations this term were presented to children who have shown exceptional resilience in their learning and keep on trying no matter what. The children understand that it is fine to take a risk and make mistakes as it is this that supports us with learning more. They also add to class life by being so helpful and caring.Always smiling.
Easter baskets finished. The children had a delicious time making edible baskets as well as the yellow basket.
We all had an amazing time not only in showing off our hats but also in making some in school. We are becoming very creative. Thank you to the children for making my very tall hat- I can now appreciate how many times you have to walk under things in Cygnus class and for Mrs Griffins gigantic bonnet. Thank you so much to Mrs Aldridge for her artistic approach in supporting the children in doing so.
Then there was church. The children were amazing with their retelling the poem of the Chocolate Bunny and singing the Spring song as well as sitting patiently throughout the service.
Ethan has really wowed us with his confidence in speaking as well as his learning throughout the curriculum.
Lillie was chosen as she is continually bright in class. We use bright at Rowde not to represent being the most able learner but it is used to describe our positive attitudes and willingness to have a go. Unfortunately Lillie was poorly so we will celebrate when she returns.
Well done to Primrose for getting most merits. This was very close and there were at least half a dozen children who were in the bracket. Primrose had recently taken on h role of school council rep and did an incredible job at relaying the points of the meeting to the class which earned her a couple of last minute merits. Watch out for all the silver certificates which are about to come home.
