Some practical maths

Cygnus class have been doing some weighing and using the language of weight such as heavy/ light, heavier and lighter. We even talked about balancing the scales. We made predictions about which objects might weigh the most.
It's smiling Luke again.

Charlie discovered that our snack apples weigh different amounts. I wonder which one he chose?
A very relaxed approach.
Loving the practical maths.
Not sure what weighs more than the whale.
Baking is always a good way of developing this language.
Painting our reflection tree on the window.
The reflection area is a place we can visit to think about what has happened in our learning or as a result of something happening to us. It is an area of calm.

This week we are making some junk models out of boxes and yogurt tubs. If you would like to recycle your boxes they would be appreciated. Who knows what creations you will soon be having at home.

If you have any old bricks we would really appreciate them as we are hoping to develop a builders yard in the outside area.
Thank you
